Chico High School students can use the online course to work through required driver education topics on a schedule that works for them. It is designed to help students understand road rules before practicing in real traffic. Students can pause, return to earlier lessons, and reinforce road-sign, right-of-way, and defensive-driving knowledge before the permit exam. Students can use the extra study time to connect permit-test questions with everyday driving situations, including intersections, lane use, sharing the road, and defensive driving choices.

Students who do not want a fully online course can ask about classroom learning options. These sessions are usually limited and can fill fast when school is out. We also have a great package that includes a little extra for each student who chooses to use this service. If the DMV package is chosen, we handle scheduling with the DMV for the drivers test. We also will pick up and drop off the student before and after the license test. Even more, we will let the student use our car, the same car we’ve been training in, for their license test.
