EZ Street Driving School works with Highland High School students who are preparing for the California permit and license process. The goal is to give new drivers a clear path from studying California driving rules to developing practical habits behind the wheel.

This helps students fit permit preparation around school schedules while still building a stronger safety foundation. For families looking for an in-person option, classroom sessions may be available at selected times. Checking the current schedule early helps students find the format that works for them. When offered, classroom learning gives students another way to complete driver education alongside online course options. Students can work through traffic-law topics in a guided setting and use the class time to clarify material that may feel difficult when studying alone.

Behind-The-Wheel Training

In-car lessons give Highland High School students time to practice with an instructor before they drive more independently. Training can cover observation, speed control, turns, parking, and steady decision making. Lessons can be spaced over time so students have a chance to practice with family between sessions and return with questions for their instructor. DMV Package

We also have a great package that includes a little extra for each student who chooses to use this service. If the DMV package is chosen, we handle scheduling with the DMV for the drivers test. We also will pick up and drop off the student before and after the license test. Even more, we will let the student use our car, the same car we’ve been training in, for their license test.
