EZ Street Driving School works with Wilson Alternative High School students who are preparing for the California permit and license process. Families can plan each step around school, activities, and other commitments while students build the knowledge and experience needed for safer driving.

Online learning gives Wilson Alternative High School students a flexible way to complete driver education without waiting for a classroom session. Students can review the material from home and prepare for the written permit exam at their own pace. Families can use the course as a steady foundation for the next licensing steps, from permit preparation through in-car instruction. The course also gives students an opportunity to review topics more than once, which can be useful when preparing for the California written permit exam.

Classroom Learning

When classroom driver education is available, it gives students another way to complete the learning portion with more direct structure. Seats may be limited, especially during busy student seasons. When offered, classroom learning gives students another way to complete driver education alongside online course options. Students can work through traffic-law topics in a guided setting and use the class time to clarify material that may feel difficult when studying alone.

Behind-The-Wheel Training

Wilson Alternative High School students can build safer routines through guided in-car practice. A certified instructor can focus on the student's current needs while preparing them for more independent driving. The goal is steady progress from basic control to safer independent driving, with instruction matched to the student's current experience. Students can begin with familiar streets and basic maneuvers, then progress to intersections, lane changes, parking, and busier traffic as their comfort improves. The emphasis remains on safe habits that continue after the DMV test, including observation, space management, communication, and thoughtful responses to other road users.

DMV Package

We also have a great package that includes a little extra for each student who chooses to use this service. If the DMV package is chosen, we handle scheduling with the DMV for the drivers test. We also will pick up and drop off the student before and after the license test. Even more, we will let the student use our car, the same car we’ve been training in, for their license test.
